Biography
Dr. Ivezaj is an Assistant Professor at the Program for Obesity, Weight, and Eating Research (POWER) in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine. Her major and longstanding clinical-research interests focus on psychosocial factors associated with bariatric surgery outcomes, with a specific interest in disordered eating following bariatric surgery. Currently, Dr. Ivezaj is a principal investigator on a NIH-funded R01 examining behavioral and pharmacologic treatments for suboptimal outcomes following metabolic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Ivezaj also plays a central role in several longitudinal and treatment studies with bariatric surgery populations .
