Expert Perspectives Panel Discussion – This lively, 35-minute panel presentation, will feature 3 interdisciplinary experts (an internal medicine clinician, a bariatric surgeon, and an endocrinologist) as they explore the multifactorial etiology of obesity, the role of AOMs as complementary therapies to bariatric surgery, and recent data on these medications, including safety and efficacy data and their impact on weight-related comorbidities.
Experts Under the Microscope – Following will be a 20-minute panel discussion with the 3 faculty members in the “hot seat” where they will be asked specific questions surrounding pressing and current topics in the use of AOMs in bariatric surgery patients.
