Biography
Jun Tashiro, MD MPH FACS FAAP, is a pediatric surgeon specializing in adolescent bariatric surgery. As Surgical Director of the NYU Langone Health Adolescent Healthy Weight Program, he aims to create a comprehensive weight loss experience for teens suffering from obesity. Through a multidisciplinary approach, including adolescent-specific medical and surgical guidance, as well as nutritional and psychological counseling, the program attempts to optimize the chances of success for teens – so they can take control over their weight and live a happy, healthy life.
