Biography
Dr. Lawrence Tabone is a bariatric trained surgeon from Duke University and is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons. He serves as the Director of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery at West Virginia University. His surgical practice involves a multimodality approach using complex laparoscopy, robotics, and endoscopic techniques to treat morbid obesity and associated diseases. His clinical practice also includes the treatment of benign foregut and esophageal disorders including gastroesophageal reflux disease, achalasia, and hiatal hernias.
