Biography

Michael Snyder, MD, FACS, FASMBS, is the Medical Director of the Bariatric Surgery Center at Rose Medical Center. He is also the Founder and Director of the Denver Center for Bariatric Surgery Foundation, bringing the best regional bariatric surgeons to work together with him throughout the regional HCA system. He has been doing bariatric surgery since 2002 and has performed more than 10,000 bariatric surgical procedures. He maintains a volume of 400-500 cases per year. Up to 20% of his surgical volume is made up of bariatric surgery revisions, to ensure patients continue to see the most effective bariatric surgery results. His program is a destination location for revisional surgery. He also is the Director of the Adolescent Bariatric Surgical Program at the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children.
