Biography
Dr. Seger is a past president of the Texas Association of Bariatric Surgeons. He has served as the chief of surgery at the Methodist specialty and transplant hospital in San Antonio. He chairs the Access to Care committee for the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, Bexar County Medical Society, and the American Medical Association. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has earned a focus practice designation in Bariatric surgery from the American Board of Surgery.
