Biography

Bobbie Lou Price has worked in the field of bariatrics for 24 years. She has given many lectures all over the world pertaining to morbid obesity. She is very active in the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery by serving on committees and being past president of the Integrated Health Section. Mrs. Price received her BSN nursing degree from Barton College in 1994. She received her Masters in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist degree from East Carolina University in 2013. She became a Certified Bariatric Nurse in 2007. She currently is employed at Physicians East in Greenville, North Carolina as the Bariatric Program Coordinator for the Bariatric program.
