Biography
Dr. Victoria Panna Lappin holds her Ph.D. from Widener University (2020) in Human Sexuality with a clinical focus. Her dissertation, ‘A Mixed Methods Approach Examining Body Image and Sexual Self-Esteem in Post-Bariatric Surgery Women Between August 2016 and August 2018,’ examined body image and sexual self-esteem in post-bariatric women. She has 3 master’s degrees: Criminology from Boston University (2009), Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Villanova University (2011), and Education from Widener University (2013). She has been a counselor for 12 years and a higher education instructor for 7 years. She is currently the Clinical Coordinator and Faculty member at Keiser University’s (FL) Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. For fun, she enjoys to be near the water, spend time with her husband and family (including 2 fur babies), travel, read, and volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
