Dr. Nie received his Ph.D. in Surgery from Peking University and works at China-Japan Friendship Hospital, the largest metabolic bariatric surgery center in China. He is engaged in research related to obesity and type 2 diabetes and has published several articles in journals such as Obesity Reviews.
