Biography

Jennifer Linge (Linköping, Sweden) is the Lead Scientist for Personalized Medicine at AMRA Medical and researcher at Linköping University. Her background is within engineering mathematics, specializing in biological- and medical modelling but the past 7 years, her research has been focused on MRI-based body composition and utilization of large datasets for individual-centric disease predictions within metabolic and wasting disorders. She has engaged in studies on body composition in populations ranging from general population, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) to chronic kidney disease, psoriasis arthritis and achondroplasia. Her research has uncovered metabophenotypes described by skewness in body fat accumulation pattern as well as by muscle composition associated with metabolic comorbidity and poor function.
