Biography

I began in the Nursing industry in 1987 as a Medical-Surgical nurse and became involved with caring for Bariatric post-op patients in early 2000. I discovered a love for the Bariatric population as I had my own personal family experience with obesity and their daily challenges. In 2013, I began working for Atlanta General and Bariatric Surgery Center and was able to develop our Bariatric program and prepare us for our first MBSAQiP Accreditation survey in 2016. Recently, we participated in our 3rd reaccreditation survey and continue to provide outstanding quality patient care.
