Biography
Afton Koball, PhD, ABPP is a clinical health psychologist at Gundersen Health System. She serves as the co-chair in the Department of Behavioral health and the lead psychologist for medical and surgical weight management. Clinically, she works with individuals pre-and post-bariatric surgery and those pursuing behavioral or medical weight management options. Dr. Koball’s research interests are in the area of psychosocial correlates of obesity and bariatric surgery including: food craving, food addiction, and support group optimization.
