Biography

I am the Co-Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Weight Center and an assistant professor of medicine and pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. I was a primary care physician for 10 years before specializing in obesity medicine. I am President-Elect of the Obesity Medicine Association and a member of The Obesity Society. I see patients 50% of my time while the other part of my time is spent teaching, doing research and leading our multi-disciplinary obesity treatment center. I am the Fellowship Director of our Obesity Medicine Fellowship at MGH. I am passionate about collaborative care in obesity treatment and education. In my spare time I enjoy Peloton work outs, cooking and being a soccer mom.
