Biography

Dr. Ashley Dunford is a second-year post-doc in the Program for Obesity, Weight, and Eating Research (POWER) at Yale School of Medicine. She graduated with her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology following her health psychology internship at Henry Ford Health Hospital in 2021. She provides evidence-based eating disorder and psychiatric assessment and treatment for patients following bariatric surgery or presenting with binge eating. Her professional interests include body image, obesity, and eating disorder research and treatment, clinical supervision, and clinical education for weight stigma awareness.
