Biography

Lauren has worked in hospitals & doctors’ offices until starting her own nutrition counseling & wellness practice, LBS Nutrition LLC, in 2011. She runs a team of 5 Registered Dietitians with multiple locations throughout Central NJ. Lauren is certified in Adult Weight Management and specializes in Bariatric Surgery nutrition. She has had the opportunity to work with many patients pre and post surgery throughout her years in practice, and in 2017 was given the Bariatric Care Specialist distinction as a result of her extensive work experience and dedication. She has recently been reaccredited. To further assist her patients throughout the years, Lauren has been facilitating bariatric support groups, which she currently runs virtually and in person. She is Co-Chair, and soon to be Chair, of the Integrated Health support group committee. Lauren mentors nutrition students from Rutgers University, has been featured on radio shows, and has been given awards including Blue Physician Recognition designation through Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey. She is extremely passionate about her work.
