Biography

After graduating from medical school in India at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, Dr. Balakrishnan joined the surgery residency program at Marshall University. In his second year, he enjoyed the Minimally Invasive Surgery/Bariatric Surgery rotation and hopes to pursue a fellowship in the same. In his free time, Dr. Balakrishnan enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with his wife and two dogs.
